In normal times, our book club meets the third Wednesday of each month, from 4 – 5:30 p.m., at the house on the library site. Contact: Harieklia Bryant (klia1@mac.com). All are welcome!
Sadly, these are not normal times, so our club won’t be meeting until July. However, we are all reading the books designated for each month:
- May – The Orphan’s Tale, by Pam Jenoff
- June – The Book of Gutsy Women, by Hillary and Chelsea Clinton
In July, when we meet, we’ll discuss The Music Shop, by Rachel Joyce.
As we do not have access to the library at this time, unless you use ebook or audiobook (and these are really being utilized right now)….we can buy the ebook and some titles in audiobook online. If you cannot get any of these titles….read what you have…and keep reading.
Perhaps we are all discovering book titles we want to share come July. That would be wonderful and I recommend we make that list for July sharing. I am thinking the July meeting will be one where we bring our lunch and dinner (we’ll have a lot to talk about! :).
Continue to be safe and keep on reading. I want to share a quote from Albert Camus:
“It was in the midst of winter that I learned that there was within me, an invincible spring.”
