As we begin the new year, we are laying out plans for new community events to help us in our fundraising goals and to keep our community informed on Birch Bay Vogt Community Library project progress
Last year we started Book Sales and Project Chat weekly on Wednesdays during Bookmobile visits, from 3:30-6 p.m. We will continue with this program.
We value community input and would love to hear your thoughts on the project. Come visit with us on Wednesdays where Friends will be on site to answer your questions and give you the latest news on the project. We will also have our Friends merchandise available for purchase.
We are updating our Newsletter to include information on the new library and the services that will be provided. We will also include news from Whatcom County Library Service (WCLS) that may be of interest to library patrons in Birch Bay.
The Kite Festival will be held on the library site May 30 and 31. We will be partnering with WCLS and the Birch Bay Chamber during this two day event. There will be plenty of family fun and activities for everyone. Watch for more information as it becomes available.
